SV	Doch Jehizkia verootmoedigde zich om de verheffing zijns harten, hij en de inwoners van Jeruzalem, zodat de grote toornigheid des HEEREN over hen niet kwam in de dagen van Jehizkia.
WLC	וַיִּכָּנַ֤ע יְחִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ בְּגֹ֣בַהּ לִבֹּ֔ו ה֖וּא וְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְלֹא־בָ֤א עֲלֵיהֶם֙ קֶ֣צֶף יְהוָ֔ה בִּימֵ֖י יְחִזְקִיָּֽהוּ׃
Trans.	wayyikān^a‘ yəḥizəqîyâû bəḡōḇ^ah libwō hû’ wəyōšəḇê yərûšālāim wəlō’-ḇā’ ‘ălêhem qeṣef JHWH bîmê yəḥizəqîyâû:

AC	כו ויכנע יחזקיהו בגבה לבו הוא ויושבי ירושלם ולא בא עליהם קצף יהוה בימי יחזקיהו
ASV	Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of Jehovah came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.
BE	But then, Hezekiah, in sorrow for what he had done, put away his pride; and he and all Jerusalem made themselves low, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come on them in Hezekiah's life-time.
Darby	And Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of Jehovah came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.
